i waited for a new jeffrey eugenides (HOW DO YOU PRONOUCE EUGENIDES) book for so very long. SO VERY LONG. middlesex is on my top 5 list, and i loved the virgin suicides (duh, i am a female child of the ’90s). if you’re a fan of his, you will not be disappointed. i absolutely tore through this. i loved the way he examined the many motives behind love, and his descriptive writing is so nail-on-the-head. ok. that’s all i’m going to say, as miss nb (or, mrs. i guess?!) will be taking it on her flight to ASIA (what!).
