last week at patti & ariel’s wedding, the skies OPENED and the most beautiful storm pounded down. dave grabbed a bottle of champagne from the bar and a couple of glasses in one hand, and my own hand in the other, and we sprinted into the barn. i love him for this, and for so many other reasons including but not limited to his soulful singing voice, devastating good looks, gut-bustingly funny sense of humor, patience with me, honesty, loyalty, creativity, passion and sense of adventure. i cannot wait to marry this guy next year; he’s everything i’ve ever wanted.
