mini threads.

one of my first internships was an unpaid but very hands-on writing gig at WWD Children’s Business (a trade mag that has since joined its brothers and sisters in that great big magazine graveyard in the sky). when i was matched with them through the fairchild publications internship placement program i was a little disappointed (kid’s clothes? what do i care?) but it was SO. MUCH. FUN. i love children and i also love tiny little handmade clothes, which is something i learned that summer. all the kidswear designers i interviewed had the biggest hearts and were such imaginative dreamers. it was inspiring. so sometimes i still check out what’s happening in the kid’s markets; look at these cuuuuuuuuuuute little girlie clothes:
