on saturday night, i had the best lobster roll i have ever had, at Pearl Oyster Bar in the west village. pearl is KNOWN for having the best lobster rolls anyone has ever had, but still: the lobster itself was cut into huge, mayonnaise-y chunks and served deliciously warm – not hot, not cold – on a perfectly toasted, lightly buttered hotdog bun. paired with a heaping pile of shoestring fries and a draft IPA, it was, in a word, heaven.
