this was my first european vacation that i truly enjoyed the decadent, hedonistic lifestyle that comes with living on the continent (as opposed to, say, waking at 7 every morning to trek it to the Vatican or the Pantheon). and let me tell y’all: there is nothing better. nothing. pasta, pizza, gelato, vino, champers, rose, weddings, parties, world cup games, late mornings, even later nights, good friends and even better times, all giggles and sunshine and happiness… HIGHLY recommended.

now, of course, back to reality.
