but i have been (in typical me fashion) OBSESSING for the past three weeks about painting stripes on a wall in my apartment (poor nm and ak can attest to this): which wall to paint them on, in which room, in what color, how thick the stripes should be, etc. i narrowed down my stripe-y inspiration pics to just two, and i’ve been toting them around and looking at them every night and sighing wistfully. (ak, and marlyn, and brian, and others can attest to this as well.) then, during my daily A.M. blog round up, i came across the EXACT same two inspiration pics on the blog a cup of jo!!

is this a sign? should i just do it?

i think: yes and yes. (but where? what room? what wall? oy, here i go again.)
